We will resume breakfast for lunch (including grits and biscuits) in the winter months when the weather will be cooler and everyone can enjoy it.

The Middle School Softball game scheduled for today at Thomas County has been canceled. It will be rescheduled at a later date. #4theT

The Southwell clinic located at Annie Belle Clark Elementary will be consolidating with the other Southwell clinic located at Eighth Street Middle School beginning Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023.
Family nurse practitioner Monica Davis, FNP-C will continue to provide non-emergent sick care for the students, staff and retirees of Tift County Schools, but at one location as of Sept. 5.
The Eighth Street Middle School Clinic is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Children are not seen without parental consent. For more information, please call 229-353-ESMS (3767). #4theT

🔒To increase student engagement, collaboration, & critical thinking skills, all 6th grade math students had to BreakOut of the Donut Shop Escape Room! Students figured out codes to locks by adding decimals and converting them into fractions. It was an absolute hit!

🚗NEMS opens at 7:45am for all students, parents, and visitors. School staff is not available to supervise students prior to 7:45am. Because student safety & supervision is very important, no drop-offs prior to 7:45am.
All students must be dropped off and picked up at the rear entrance.
Afternoon dismissal begins at 3:30pm. We are utilizing 3 lanes for student pick-up. Staff will monitor student pick-up in all 3 lanes to ensure student safety.
