Learning Healthcare Through a Different Lens! 🩺
Healthcare students from Eighth Street Middle School (ESMS) and Northeast Middle School (NEMS) had an exciting opportunity Tuesday to participate in the Journey Through Justice program at the State Bar of Georgia!
Students participated in an interactive law lesson exploring technology and its connection to legal and ethical issues in healthcare. They learned how healthcare professionals must navigate important responsibilities involving patient privacy, technology, ethics, and the law.
After the lesson, students put their new knowledge into action by participating in a mock trial, giving them a firsthand look at how legal concepts can apply to real-world healthcare situations.
What an incredible opportunity for our future healthcare professionals to learn, think critically, and experience healthcare beyond the classroom! 🩺⚖️📚

On September 21st Tift County will join other communities across Georgia celebrating Georgia Reads Day, kicking off Georgia Reads Week, September 21st – 25th.
Georgia Reads Day is an opportunity for everyone to celebrate literacy by sharing a simple, meaningful moment with a child, family member, student, neighbor, or friend. You do not need a special event, a classroom, or even a new book!

🧪☕ Science was brewing at NEMS! Our 7th graders brought cells to life during the Cell-Bucks Cell Analogies Lab in the media center. Students connected cell organelles to jobs in a coffee shop, making it easier to see how each part has a different role—but works together to keep the whole system running.
