The 2023-2024 8th grade T.A.L.:K students started their series of events with a great kickoff at Tifton's Coca Cola plant. Students had the opportunity to hear a motivational speech on leadership by Dr. Tonja Tift. Students then enjoyed lunch provided by Your Pie. After lunch, students broke into groups for a fun team-building event of following a portrait to create halloween pumpkins out of a pallet of soft drinks. During the activity, Coke employees took each group on a tour of the entire plant. Students are looking forward to their next event!

🎉Before Fall Break, we held our 1st 9 Weeks PBIS Reward Party! Students with no major discipline referrals attended our Fall Festival that included inflatables, face painting, carnival games, and more! Thank you to our parent volunteers as well!

We are excited to have several mentors and more than 30 students participating in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Club at Northeast Middle School! This program is designed to encourage academic excellence, self-improvement, promote safety, brotherhood, motivation, and develop maturity for the boys. Our goal as leaders in the community is to increase awareness of self-motivation and assist students in finding their passion and purpose in school and in life. These members dress for success every Thursday.

Today, FBLA students attended the annual Fall Rally at the Georgia National Fair in Perry. This is the kick off event for FBLA Students all over Georgia. The event began with a motivational speaker and the opportunity to participate in practice competitive events in preparation for region competition in December. After the opening session, students visited the food court for lunch and then spent the afternoon at the fair midway, riding and playing games.

☎️One of our community partners, Kadway Haulers, played Caller Number 5 with our teachers last Friday on our morning news. Mr. Saturday was Caller Number 5 and correctly answered a trivia question. He won a Sonny's BBQ gift card. He will also hold the trophy until this week's Caller Number 5 winner is named. Thank you for appreciating our teachers and adding a little fun to our Friday!
