A huge THANK YOU to Southwell for their generous donation supporting our Faculty Feel Good Fridays during the months of February and March! 💙

Because of their support, our staff members received pedometers to encourage a few extra steps each day as part of our wellness focus. Fridays have also featured healthy treats, including treats like a Berry Bar, a Water Hydration Station, and yogurt with nutritious toppings.

We are grateful for community partners like Southwell who invest in the well-being of our educators. When we support staff wellness, we strengthen our entire school community!

Beta Club March Project Planning in Progress: Our students are hard at work preparing for Multicultural March, and the excitement is building! The photos capture club members in the planning stages of this special project. You’ll see them gathered around the table with devices, researching different regions of the world. Some students were drafting morning greeting scripts, while others were compiling fun facts and cultural highlights to share during school news.

During the month of March, students will report the daily greetings in languages from the featured region and share interesting facts during school news broadcasts.
🌎 Regional Spotlights

Students will have the opportunity to purchase candy or snacks that are popular in the region being featured that week — a fun (and tasty!) way to connect learning with experience. We are proud of the leadership, collaboration, and cultural awareness our Beta Club students are demonstrating as they prepare for Multicultural March! 💙

Today, our PBIS snack cart made its way through the halls, rewarding students who consistently demonstrate positive choices and outstanding behavior. From respectful attitudes to responsible actions in the classroom, our Blue Devils continue to show what it means to lead with character.

Northeast Middle School would like to thank Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Sigma Alpha Omega Chapter for their donation of Feminine Hygiene Packs. Thank you to the AKA Sorority for their continuous support of NEMS and Tift County Students.

Last night, Northeast Middle School proudly hosted our Living Legends Museum Family Event in celebration of Black History Month! Families were welcomed with beautiful performances by our talented choir students, setting the tone for an inspiring evening. 🎶 After the opening performance, parents toured the hallways as they were transformed into a “living museum” filled with powerful stories and remarkable leaders. Our students truly brought history to life! Standing beside their trifold displays, they shared information about influential Black leaders — some even stepping fully into character to portray their historical figure. From engaging presentations and digital displays to music that honored their leader’s legacy, the creativity and dedication were incredible to see. The evening concluded just as beautifully as it began, with another moving performance from our choir members. We are so proud of our students for their hard work, confidence, and passion in sharing the impact of these legendary figures. Thank you to all of our families who came out to support this meaningful celebration of learning and culture. ❤️🖤💛
