At tonight's Tift County Board of Education work session, Northeast Middle School 8th grader Brody Stone led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The NEMS band and choir then led the inspiration with a performance of the Tift County High School alma mater.

NEMS FFA member Caroline Askew showcased her exceptional artistry and technical skill at the recent FFA Floral Design Competition. Competing in the junior division, she demonstrated a strong command of floriculture principles, placement, and creative design. With over 30 competitors we are proud of Caroline's 12th place finish.
The competition challenges middle school and early high school FFA members to construct professional-grade floral arrangements under strict time constraints. Participants are judged on design balance, mechanics, color harmony, and their ability to follow specific technical guidelines, such as the industry-standard focal-to-filler ratios. Congratulations Caroline Askew on a job well done!
