Tift County Show Choirs will present their 2023 Showcase, Tuesday, March 7th at 6:30pm in the TCHS PAC. Eighth Street Singing Company, Ladies Choice, Tiftosterone and One Voice will all perform their 2023 competition shows. You don't want to miss this event. Admission is $7.

Mr. Winger, CTAE Director, and Macy Thorne, WBL Coordinator, attended ABAC's Stafford School of Business State of the School Breakfast event . This was a great networking opportunity with others throughout the community of Tifton and provided an opportunity to meet famous drummer Sandy Gennaro! The Stafford School of Business also invited our CTAE students to attend Sandy Gennaro's motivational session that afternoon. Sandy's focus was "Beat the Odds: In Business & Life". Mrs. Keen’s Graphic Design & Production class learned how to design and produce their own t-shirt designs. Students drew their design by hand, uploaded their artwork into Adobe Illustrator, and turned their vision into a wearable design using the Brother DTG printer. #BTTY #4theT
Students in Mrs. Marzen's AP Bio participated in an electron lab where they removed chlorophyll from the chloroplasts of spinach leaves. The students then exposed the chlorophyll to light to excite the electrons. In the absence of the electron transport chain, the electrons release their energy in the form of red-violet light as they return to their ground state. In the pictures, students are observing the red-violet light fluorescing from the electrons. #BTTY #4theT
