We are excited to announce that Tift County High School has been named a $5K Fridays Sweepstakes Winner with T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights! 🎉 Tonight, T-Mobile presented us with a check for $5,000 as part of their nationwide effort to fuel school pride, performance, and possibility.
But this is just the beginning… 👀
Our Blue Devils are still in the running for even bigger prizes—$25,000 for 25 finalists and the grand prize: a $1 MILLION home field upgrade, complete with a Gronk Fitness weight room transformation, an epic tailgate party, and a trip to the SEC Championship! 🏈🔥
Let’s keep the momentum going, Tift County! 💪 Rally behind our school by posting, sharing, and showing your support. Be sure to tag @TMobile and @tchsbluedevils and use #FN5GL and #sweepstakes in your posts!

We’re excited to welcome back our returning members and greet a fantastic group of freshmen and new students at this year’s New Member Social! The event had a great turnout, with students connecting over pizza, snacks, and some fun, interactive games. 🍕🍪🧃
Our officers shared what FBLA is all about—building leadership, exploring career opportunities, serving our community, and even traveling for competitions and conferences. Students left with not just new friends, but also a glimpse of how Future Business Leaders of America helps shape future leaders.
We’re looking forward to an amazing year of growth, learning, and success together! 💼🌟 #CTAEdelivers #CTSO #FBLA #FutureBusinessLeaders #4theT

Below is the direct prepay link for parents to preorder the fall pictures being taken at school next week. This link allows parents to purchase with a credit or debit card instead of sending payment back to the school with their students.

Each group had designated roles:
👑 Leader
⚖️ Judge/Recorder
🛡️ Security Chief
🕊️ Civil Rights Advocate
🙏 Spiritual/Religious Advisor
👶 Littl’uns Representative
The class then voted on which Constitution was the most reasonable to live by… and let’s say some groups took a very creative approach. 🤯 The Security Chief in this group quickly went from protector to head executioner (pun intended 😂).

Mrs. April Richards’ biology students kicked off the year with chat stations designed to build both science skills and classroom connections! 💬🔬
At each station, students worked together on tasks like:
🔎 Making detailed observations
📊 Creating classification systems
🧬 Exploring homologous structures
➗ Practicing math for biology
🧪 Identifying lab safety hazards & creating procedures
✍️ Completing a Claim-Evidence-Reasoning task
The challenge? 🤝 Meet as many classmates as possible by switching groups at each rotation! A fun and interactive way to strengthen science skills while building community. 🌟

To put their learning into motion, students explored vectors in both one and two dimensions—moving and taping off their paths to compare total distance traveled with displacement (how far they ended up from the origin).
This hands-on lab is just the beginning of their Kinematics unit, and it’s already setting the stage for some exciting physics ahead! ⚡ #4theT #RaisingTheBar #PhysicsInAction
