🌟 Our 6th Grade Team White 3 had an incredible day of discovery at VSU's STEAM Lab and Planetarium!
At the STEAM Lab, our students experienced hands-on science like never before - touching actual clouds, walking through the water cycle, and even trying their hand at being weather forecasters! They explored fascinating phenomena through tornado simulators, light refraction experiments, and learned about thunder and lightning. They even got to experience how seasons change throughout the year.
The planetarium visit was truly out of this world! Students gazed at stunning constellations, observed planets up close, and witnessed the mesmerizing process of lunar eclipses.
What an amazing way to bring science to life for our young scientists! 📚🔬🌎✨

Today, Mr. Curtis took our 8th grade HOSA students to the State Bar of Georgia for a full day of interactive learning about Georgia’s judicial system. From the moment the presentation began, the students were engaged and eager to learn. They explored the differences between criminal and civil law, types of crimes, and the steps of the judicial process. Students also analyzed legal scenarios and took part in a mock trial featuring some of their favorite fairy tale characters!
A huge thank you to the State Bar of Georgia and the Journey Through Justice program for this incredible opportunity!
