Tift County Schools is excited to kick off our Summer Feeding Program next Tuesday! Free meals will be available each Tuesday throughout the month of June at designated walk-up sites and along our summer feeding bus routes.
All children 18 years old and younger, as well as individuals under 21 with special needs, are eligible to receive meals at no cost.

Summer time is here! Don’t forget that your child brought home valuable learning resources to use over the summer.
K–5 students brought home their HMH Know It, Show It books, My Books, and Writer's Notebooks. K–8 students also brought home their HMH Into Math student practice books and homework books. These resources are a great way to keep students reading, practicing, and growing all summer long.

That’s a wrap on the Food Truck Project for Mrs. Nichols’ 7th Grade Math students! Students used real-world math skills like budgeting, statistics, and proportional reasoning to design and operate their own food truck businesses. Students in Ms. Bryan’s class recently wrapped up their exciting End-of-Year Physical Science Projects! From thermal transfer to chemical reactions, students explored real-world examples of physical science through hands-on experiments and creative demonstrations.
Working with partners or small groups, students selected and completed science fair-style projects during class time, designing and implementing experiments that showcased science in everyday life. They then presented their findings and demonstrations to their classmates, showing off their hard work, teamwork, and scientific thinking skills. 👩🔬👨🔬
We are proud of our students for their creativity, collaboration, and enthusiasm for science as they finished the school year strong! ⚛️✨
