Hosted by the Tift County High School Blue Devil Brigade, the event will take place at the Eighth Street Middle School track.
Bring the whole family out for a fun day featuring games, food trucks, bounce houses, a dunk tank, music, and several special guests—plus helpful information about the Georgia Milestones Assessment System (GMAS).

🎉🐔 Big Congratulations to Our NEMS FFA Poultry Team! 🐔🎉
The NEMS FFA Jr. State Poultry Judging Team placed 8th in the state! 👏
After earning 2nd place at the Area V FFA Competition, the team advanced to the state contest held on March 27, 2026, at the University of Georgia Poultry Research Center in Athens, GA.
Students competed in a challenging event that included judging, grading, and identifying live birds, carcasses, eggs, poultry parts, and processed products—plus presenting oral reasons.
We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and success! 💙💛

WELCOME BACK!!!!!! Here is this week's NEMS Nuggets. Parents we need your help with several components: We need students present every day. Each day they are gaining vital information to prepare for GMAS testing that is 20 days away; we need your help to ensure students are showing up to school in proper dress code and demeanor; and we also need you to push your students to improve their grades to ensure they do not qualify for summer school.
