Students in Business Communications classes practiced customer service activities. One activity, "Telephone Situations", allowed students to learn how to answer a business phone properly. Students also participated in role-playing activities where they practiced real-life situations with customers and customer service. In the end, they all had fun while learning business communications. #4theT #CTAEdelivers

This morning a member of the administrative staff at Tift County High School was alerted by a student of a social media post involving a student on campus with a weapon. System security personnel and local law enforcement responded and it was determined that the student was in possession of a BB Gun. The issue was handled without incident. We would like to commend the student for alerting the administration to this situation to ensure the safety and security of other students and staff. #4theT

They also delivered 120 jars of jelly to the organization that have been collected by our FFA members over the last couple of months. TCHS Counseling Department is excited to announce FAFSA Fridays will be back after Christmas break. It is a time for you to come to get help filling out your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This is free money for college based on financial need. This process can be pretty tedious and frustrating as it requires you and your parents to input tax information. The counseling office brings in a representative from the Georgia Student Finance Commission to assist you with this process. She is the expert on all things financial aid. A sign-up form will be sent out after Christmas, but we wanted to make you aware of these opportunities now to relieve any stress you may have surrounding this topic. Be on the lookout for emails and flyers with the sign-up forms after Christmas. We look forward to helping you reach your goals after graduation. #BTTY #4theT
