This morning, the front office at Tift County High School received a phone call to inform the school of a possible weapon in a student’s vehicle on campus. The administration was immediately notified. System security personnel and local law enforcement investigated and found a rifle in the vehicle. The issue was handled without incident and has been turned over to local law enforcement. We would like to commend the caller for alerting the administration to this situation to ensure the safety and security of students and staff. #4theT

Please help us congratulate Senior, Ujvali Patel. She has been named a Georgia Scholar for 2024! Georgia Scholars are students who carried exemplary course loads during their high school academic career, they excelled in all courses, participated in interscholastic events within their schools and communities, and assumed leadership roles in extracurricular activities sponsored by their schools. This prestigious award was given to 177 students across the state. #4theT

How do you measure Force and Motion? Mrs. Dana Fletcher's Physical Science class used a Radar Gun and baseball! Students connected this to the real world by associating how a Police Officer uses it to catch speeders! This was an engaging lesson outside of the classroom. #4theT
