🎺Northeast Middle School had 4 students who participated in the District Honor Band at ABAC this weekend! These students practiced on Friday afternoon and gave a wonderful performance Saturday. Congratulations to Rin Khatiwada, Vincent Johnson, Ivy Zhu, & Daniel Rojas!






🎤2024 Sixth Grade Statewide Honor Chorus included Anthony Caramanica, Graison Gordon, Natalie Melendez, Lauren Merwin, Katelyn Mills, Hannah Vinson, and Miley Wheeler. It was a two-day event, with rehearsals on Friday and Saturday culminating a big performance on Saturday. Katelyn Mills was selected, during Friday’s rehearsal, as a member of the Solo Ensemble for the piece “Journey On.” Congratulations to these students!






💙 Our counselors are an essential asset to Northeast Middle School! We have had a blast celebrating Ms. Ryce and Ms. Pollock this week with relaxing lunches, treat boxes, delicious tea, and beautiful flowers.

On Tuesday, our T.A.L.K students got to participate in Healthcare Day! Students got to hear from Southwell executives at the Tift Regional Events Center and then had an incredible tour of the updated facilities at Southwell Tift Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Caleb Rice, Assistant Principal at Northeast Middle School, was awarded The Mike Campbell Emerging Leader Award from GAMSP. This award is given in recognition of emerging leaders and their service to middle grades education by way of leadership. He was not able to attend the Fall conference and received this award during the GAMSP business meeting at Winter GAEL. We are very proud of Mr. Rice and his leadership. #4theT

🤖On Saturday 1/20, our NEMS Blue Devil Robotics teams took 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 7th places at the FAMU Regional Robotics tournament in Tallahassee! So proud of all of our kiddos for representing the "T" with a focus on teamwork and good sportsmanship!
