💰Payday Fun!! Making Smart Money Moves!💸 Mrs. Gann’s 8th grade Business class has officially wrapped up their finance unit! Students explored important financial topics, including budgeting, credit cards, credit scores, and loans, while learning how these concepts impact real-life financial decisions. They put their knowledge to the test by comparing popular cars and calculating how different credit scores and loan terms affect interest rates and monthly payments. Students got a firsthand look at how financial choices today can impact their future! To finish the unit, students enjoyed a game of "Pay Day", putting their money management skills to the test while having some fun!

Who says reviewing for a math quiz can’t be fun?! Our students put their fraction skills to the test with a fast-paced round of Speed Partners! Students had just 1 minute and 45 seconds to work with a partner, solve problems, and check their answers before rotating to a new partner and tackling another challenge! After several rounds, we came together as a class to discuss the problems students found most challenging or confusing. This gave us the perfect opportunity to clear up misconceptions, share strategies, and build confidence before our fractions module quiz. 💡 Collaboration, critical thinking, movement, and meaningful math conversations—all in one activity! Homecoming Dress Up Days Change
At tonight's Tift County Board of Education work session, Northeast Middle School 8th grader Brody Stone led the Pledge of Allegiance.

The NEMS band and choir then led the inspiration with a performance of the Tift County High School alma mater.
