Tomorrow’s home game has been canceled.
The Region Tournament will be Saturday at Colquitt (10am)

Middle School Football:
6th & 7th vs Thomas County - moved to Thursday, October 3rd at TCHS Mini Stadium
8th will play at Thomas County on Thursday
Middle School Softball:
The region tournament will not be rescheduled. Because our girls were #1 in region, they have been declared as the Region Champion.

Good afternoon! This is a reminder of our student meal pickup tomorrow. Please understand that due to federal school nutrition regulations, students must be present in order to pick up a meal. Each bag will include a hot lunch and a shelf stable breakfast. Distribution sites will open at 9:00am and meals will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. On Tuesday, October 1st at 9:00am, Tift County School Nutrition will distribute meals to our students! Meals can be picked up at the following locations :
📍 Annie Belle Clark Elementary, Charles Spencer Elementary, G O Bailey Elementary, J T Reddick Elementary, Matt Wilson Elementary, Omega Elementary, Brookfield Baptist Church and TyTy Baptist
Bags will include a hot lunch and breakfast, and they will be available on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. Please note that students must be present to receive meals.

While school will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, power has been restored at TCHS, so we are able to accommodate extracurricular practices for students who are able to attend. (This applies to high school activities only)
Coaches/Sponsors will communicate with students regarding practice times and other information.

After communicating with Georgia Power and Colquitt EMC regarding the status of the restoration of power and with EMS regarding the condition of roads, we feel it is in the best interest of our students and staff for all Tift County Schools to remain closed on Monday and Tuesday. We will continue to assess the situation and will provide updates as we have information. Stay Safe! #4theT.
We are keeping our students, staff, families and community in our thoughts and prayers as clean-up efforts continue. Throughout the weekend, we will carefully assess road conditions and power restoration at our facilities to determine if we can resume normal school operations on Monday. The 7th Grade Football team had a great game in Valdosta with a 30-0 victory this afternoon! Unfortunately, the 8th grade game was canceled due to the rain. #4theT
The Middle School Softball team faced their first loss today, falling 8-0 against Coffee. However, they bounced back strong, winning the second game 4-3! The playoffs begin at home this Tuesday at 4:30. Let’s show our support! #4theT
The Varsity Softball team dominated Camden, completing the sweep with two impressive wins, 12-1 and 12-3! Next up, they will travel to Colquitt this Tuesday, October 1st. Go Blue Devils! #4theT
Friday's football game at Richmond Hill has been moved to SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH at 2:00pm. The game will still be played at Wildcat Stadium in Richmond Hill. #4theT
All athletic contests scheduled to take place today on the campus of Tift County High School have been canceled. Middle School Volleyball has also been canceled. Middle School Softball will still play their game at Northeast and Middle School Football games will still be played in Valdosta. Practices will proceed as scheduled. #4theT
After communicating with the National Weather Service and the local Emergency Management Agency we have determined that weather conditions predicted for our area are not suitable for the normal course of operation. As a result, all Tift County Schools will be closed Thursday, September 26th and Friday, September 27th. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. 🏃♀️🏃♂️ Yesterday was an exciting day for our Middle School teams at the Tiftarea Panther Prowl Cross Country Meet! Katherine Currie took 1st place in the girls' race, and our girls' team finished 4th overall! 🏅
