All parents of students who participate in the Migrant Education Program for Tift County Schools are invited to attend a parent meeting on November 8th at 5:30pm at the Administrative Office. During the meeting, parents will learn more about the Migrant Education Program, meet the staff serving students in this program, and be given the opportunity to provide feedback. The information shared during the meeting will be in Spanish or translated into Spanish during the meeting. Light refreshments will also be provided. #4theT

Tifton Council for the Arts is hosting an arts festival the first weekend in November. The Arts Affair will kick off Saturday at 9:30 am with a children’s parade from Fulwood Park to the festival grounds. The festival will begin at 10:00 am and will feature an art exhibit, Artist Market, children’s Arts Circus, Author’s Row, food trucks, art demonstrations, a Sweet Taste of Tifton, and live performances throughout the day. The Arts Affair will include a FREE community-wide concert on Friday, November 3rd, and an arts festival on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, in and around the grounds of the Syd Blackmarr Arts Center. #4theT
