Title I is a federally funded educational grant that provides supplemental funds to school districts to assist schools. It allows us to provide a higher quality education for every student. Title I encourages parents to be involved in their child's education. Title I schools, in collaboration with parents, develop and distribute to parent/guardians a written Parent Involvement Policy/Plan. The Parent Involvement Policy/Plan describes how the school will carry out the parent involvement requirements including the development of a School-Parent Compact.
Any adult in a household that has a child at NEC for the 2014-2015 school year is invited to be a part of the NEC Title I Advisory Board. If you are interested, we ask that you review the attached Parent Involvement Policy and Compact and offer suggestions on how we can revise our strategies for more effective parent involvement. If you are interested in participating in the annual evaluation and revision of our current compact, please email email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com with your revision ideas, suggestions, and/or comments along with a current phone number and mailing address.
Thank you for your time and interest in Northeast Campus.
