AntiBullying Campaign Sponsored by Student Council

The bully free campaign is held during the month of October and unites communities nationwide to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention.

The NEC Student Council is participating this month by participating in a post it positive campaign using post it notes to provide students with positive comments.

One positive saying can change a students outlook on life.

The student council created a pledge bulletin board were students and teachers alike can sign there names to be bully free at NEC.

On Thursday, October 16th NEC will have a ORANGE out to help show be are a bully free zone.

Bullied students that go it alone because they don’t know who to turn to are far more likely to fall behind in their studies, get sick and/or depressed, miss school, and drop out.

But research tells us that one caring adult can make all the difference in a bullied student’s life.

NEC student council would like everyone to participate by wearing orange, passing out positive post its on Thursday and signing the pledge wall.
